Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the ከኛPay website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. 

Nature of Service

 ከኛPay acts as an intermediary and payment facilitator. We assist clients in Ethiopia in making payments for international services (such as hotels, flights, subscriptions, and visa fees) where direct access to foreign currency or international payment methods is limited.

  • We are not a bank.

  • We are not the service provider (e.g., we are not the hotel or the airline).

User Obligations

  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the request process.

  • You agree that the funds used for payments are legally yours and not obtained through illegal means.

  • You are responsible for ensuring the details of the service you want us to pay (e.g., the correct URL or booking dates) are correct. ከኛPay is not liable for errors made by the user in the request form.

Service Fees and Exchange Rates

  • Service Fee: We charge a service fee for facilitating the transaction. This fee is disclosed to you before you confirm the order.

  • Exchange Rates: Our exchange rates may differ from official bank rates to cover market volatility and operational costs.

  • Non-Refundable Fee: Once a service has been successfully processed, the ከኛPay service fee is non-refundable.

Refunds and Cancellations

  • Our Liability: If we fail to process your payment due to an error on our end, we will issue a full refund.

  • Third-Party Refunds: If you cancel a hotel or flight after we have paid for it, refunds are subject to the terms and conditions of that specific third-party provider (e.g., the Airline's cancellation policy).

  • Processing Refunds: If a third party refunds money to us on your behalf, we will transfer the equivalent amount in local currency back to you, minus any transaction fees incurred.

Limitation of Liability

ከኛPay is not responsible for:

  • The quality, safety, or legality of the services you purchase (e.g., if the hotel is dirty or the product is defective).

  • Delays caused by third-party platforms or banking networks.

  • Account bans or restrictions placed on you by the service provider (e.g., if Netflix bans your account for violating their rules).
